Lucky Number Seven grew out of a long-time passion to be around living things, the beautiful plants and animals and natural wonder of this amazing planet we call home.

We have a passion for watching plants grow and for creating spaces that enable us to have greenery in our lives no matter where we live or how much space we have.
All About Me
Hi! My name is Lauren, and I started Lucky Number Seven because as I grew my own plant family and started experimenting with perennials, herbs, and propagation, I realized I wanted to do more than just create green spaces for our family at home. I wanted to share my passion with others, and not just by selling plants, but by creating a community of plant lovers who want to learn, build their plant family over time, and enjoy the simple pleasures of caring for and nurturing plants through the seasons and the years.

My passion for the outdoors and plants started as a child, when I would help my mom plant our annuals and vegetable garden every year and then spend the summers barefoot outside. Professionally, I do work at the intersection of water, agriculture and food sustainability, and this work has only made me more passionate to share my love of plants and bring people closer to the plants that sustain us in so many ways, from simple green spaces at home to grand gardens and farms that feed us and nourish us.
